Visual Sound One
The first time I visited the place at Club 107 was just an empty shell. It's hard to imagine what it would become a nightclub in the heart of Sussex operation, but after three months of hard work the place opened to the public with great success.
The brief was straightforward: High quality sound and an impressive light show disco match.
The 107 Club Sound System
Starting with the sound system, we have chosen a sound system by Funktion. Known for their high quality and visually stunning systems, we feel that Funktion One might offer the right fit for the place. In the dancefloor sound system consisting of four Res2SH Funktion One speakers flown from the ceiling, with two twin Funktion One F221 21 "containers under. One of the speakers Funktion Res2SH offer a fairly narrow dispersion, allowing us to concentrate the sound on the dance floor area, without spilling outside the bar too. Speakers FF6000 Formula in the DJ booth.
The peripheral sound (surround sound system at the landfill) was slightly more complex, with 7 additional areas separately defined. First, there are four individual VIP rooms, each requiring its own volume control. For such a system from Bose is specified, giving a high quality sound compact enclosures. The first three quarters of the area used to mount the speakers Bose DS100, with the last room with a Bose FreeSpace 3 system. Each room was also equipped with a volume of a cloud RL1 remote control unit, enabling customers to control the volume in your room independently.
Continued the upstairs and downstairs bars and the dance school. In these areas opted for a number of (EV) Electrovoice ZX1 speakers. Powered by GX3 amplifiers and QSC GX5, they offer a perfect solution of good quality but no sound overwhelming to the periphery.
The Club 107 Nightclub lighting system
Turning to the lighting system, we had the challenge of creating something impressive, but only in order to to permanently place the head and shoulders above their competitors. With its ceiling high enough, the Club 107 was a perfect candidate for the one target = "_blank"> LED ceiling. After some discussion and modifications, it was decided that we want to build custom LED array for implementing entire length of the roof and down one wall, opposite the DJ box. Covering a total area of 90 square meters, this will provide a more disco lights impressive in the area.
The ceiling itself was composed of 1850 RGB LED, which covers the area of 18m long and 5m. Each of the LEDs is so single controllable, allowing us to create an infinite variety of patterns, graphics and effects. Within the area of the roof of LED, also installed a number of conventional target = "_blank"> disco lighting effects to add even more impact to light. These comprised of 8 Robe 300 head CT ClubSpot mobile and 8 Martin Atomic 3000 strobes. Also added two custom built UK 300mW green laser, a system of Fog Club Martin and Martin AF-1 fan to circulate smoke. In the light the stage area, two ClubWash 300 CT Robe moving heads were installed, and two ClubSpot Robe 300 CT is placed on the secondary dance floor. Lighting Peripheral LED was also added, with 48 Octostip Battons LED placed in the bar area and the edges of the balcony.
Control of illumination was provided by a computer based software system, Ecue. This gave us the flexibility to program the entire system in one computer, with different areas that can be controlled separately. He also gave us the ability to run the video graphics and low resolution LED ceiling. The DMX was issued using seven devices Ecue Butler which gives us a total of fourteen universes of DMX.
To end on a visual system consists of three LCD projectors from a computer that is loaded with Arkaos Midi. Two screens Custom built on the edges of the dance floor, while a third electrically controlled rear projection screen suspended on the edge of the dance floor. This allowed the place to close a section of the club by reducing the screen and use it as a divider. As we used a rear projection screen allowed customers on both sides of the divide to see pictures and graphics that are being planned.

In general, the final product was as impressive as expected. All the elements worked together to create a complete clubbing experience with a new high standard to be provides for what is expected of the industry overnight.
